Encouraged Theme & Dress of Choice Days

On the last (school day) Friday of each month, students that have not lost the privilege are invited to take a break from the uniform and participate in the Theme/Dress of Choice day. In the spirit of unity, each dress of choice day will include a Theme that is encouraged for that day, however, students may wear clothes of their choice as well.

  • This is intended to be an optional, fun opportunity, though uniform clothes are also always permitted.
  • Students must still be neat, clean and modest. AVA staff determines if these expectations are met.
  • Clothing items that should be never be worn to school include: pajamas, sweatpants, and immodest clothing (tops, skirts, shorts or pants). If this is not honored, student may be required to change before continuing with that day’s learning.

Thank you for your help guiding students in how to enjoy the privilege of Theme/Dress of Choice Days responsibly so that it can continue as a fun tradition at AVA.
