To help those in need in our community, AVA will join other DCSD schools collecting food and other needed items during the #OneBookDCSD week. Each class has the goal of feeding two families of 6 a Thanksgiving meal. Below are all of the items needed to create a feast. We're so excited to make a difference for families in need in our community through the Help & Hope Center (Parker Task Force). If you are able to support this effort, we will need items sent in between Monday, November 14th to Friday, November 18th @ 8:15am. You are welcome to bring any additional food items as well! Donations can be dropped off at the front office.
Each $25 spent accounts for 1 volunteer hour. Thanks!
