Meet Simba, the newest (and furriest) member of our Aspen View Academy family! Simba is currently training to become a therapy canine with Officer Whyte and the Castle Rock Police Department. While he hasn’t earned his badge just yet, he’s doing an amazing job and learning quickly! Simba came to us from Florida where he was a rescue. He is a year old and mostly Labrador.
You might spot Simba around school—feel free to say hi! Just keep in mind he’s still getting the hang of things, so interactions may be limited if he is feeling a little overwhelmed. Simba won’t be doing classroom visits this school year as we prioritize a smooth end to the year, but we’re hopeful he’ll be a more presence in the future!
