Weekly "Newsletter" From Mrs. Stump:

It's the last week before Thanksgiving Break! Can't believe we only have 5 days left till our next break.

We were finally able to get back on track after the snow days, and are so proud of the student's ability to go with the flow! They did an amazing job at the Veteran's day assembly for only having one full-grade practice time. I am so proud of them! They also enjoyed participating in our Junior Achievement day with the Castle View High School students. It was fun for the students to get information that was from someone closer to them in age! If you didn't get a chance to, ask your student what they liked most about the Junior Achievement day!

We will be finishing up Unit 3 this week! Students will have their test in science with Mrs. Power on Tuesday, November 19th! You can find her study guide on her AVA website. Students will also be doing an end of unit assessment in reading to show off their reading knowledge. It's good practice for them as our Middle of the Year assessment window will be during the two weeks we return in December!

Last but not least, we have our next field trip coming up!! We will be doing an Animal Adaption Adventure at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science on December 13th. Please look for a My School Bucks link coming sometime this week!

Thanks for your continued partnership!

With love,
Mrs. Stump

Meet Mrs. Mindy Stump

I am delighted to begin my ninth year at Aspen View Academy this year! I have been teaching for 18 years. I received my bachelors degree in Elementary Education at John Brown University and my Masters of Education at Cedarville University.

It is a privilege to be a teacher. I became a teacher to impact the lives of students. My first goal is to provide a safe and caring environment for your child. Secondly, I strive to provide a learning experience where each student is able to meet their full potential as students and future leaders. Thirdly, I want to partner with you to create a team that works for the best interests of your child.

It is crucial to a child's success to have support and encouragement from their families, school, and community. I appreciate your involvement and support this year as we work together. I look forward to an excellent 2024-2025 school year!
