STEM Lab
Welcome Letter:
Hello!
My name is Irina Reynolds and I am excited to begin my 7th year teaching at Aspen View Academy. We joined the AVA family in 2013 when it opened its doors for the 1st time, and what a perfect match it was! Several years later I became an in-house sub and this is my 3rd year as Elementary STEM Lab Teacher. My favorite thing about teaching is connecting and building relationships with my students. I enjoy seeing their “aha” moments while we discover and learn together in the STEM Lab. During the course of the school year, we will cover the following subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Making. These subjects play a critical role in helping students better understand the world around them. We will be focusing on problem solving, creativity and critical thinking. I am a big believer in hands-on learning while understanding science concepts and learning about the engineering design process. I can’t wait to see all of their creations this school year!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading and hiking! Thank you for sharing your sweet kiddos with me!
